Watercolour painting of a Barge being rescued at Kingsdown. Painted by the distinguished, watercolour artist, Thomas James LLoyd R.S.W [b.1849-d.1910] . Inscribed to rear, Tom Lloyd R.W.S Burligton House, Walmer Beach. Painting and rear inscription framed behind glass.

Thomas Lloyd was a landscape, genre and marine painter who exhibited from 1870 and was elected A.R.W.S and R.W.S in 1878 and 1886. He lived in London and then at Walmer Beach and Yapton, Sussex. He was generally known as Tom Lloyd.
