TRAMP ART BOX

French Art-Populaire tramp art jewellery or trinket box, circa 1900.

This decorative box is extensively carved all over. It features a hinged lid and a single drawer with a sweet lion's head brass pull. The lid and drawer are lined with red velvet. One hinge was charmingly repaired with an old safety pin many years ago.
