TALL PAIR OF FRENCH IRON GARDEN PLANT SUPPORTS

A fabulous pair of French tall iron plant supports. The each terminate in an upper decoratively curved basket shaped jardiniere holder and two hooks for hanging baskets.

Made of half-round hollow wrought iron that characterises Arras garden pieces, they have lovely patination and traces of original paint

These rare examples originate from the garden of the beautiful Moulin Du Breuil, a superb country house dating from the 18th century in Combs-la-Ville, in Seine-et-Marne, south of Paris. It was the residence of the late Bernard Tapis, a famous and controversial French actor, singer, tv presenter, entrepreneur and politician.
