About the Artist: Juliette George, born in Paris (1966), was a French interior painter. She was a pupil of Jules Adler. George exhibited regularly in Paris at the Salon des Artistes Français, gaining a silver medal in 1944 and, subsequently a gold medal. Her paintings of interiors are so accurate, while recreating the atmosphere, that historical museums, including the Carnavalet Museum in Paris, have acquired them in their collections. One of her interior paintings, 'Interior With Black Lacquer Chest Of Drawers', was in the collection of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor.
