PIC-ASSIETTE UMBRELLA STAND
Wonderful example of Picassiette, a traditional craft in France during the 19th & early 20th centuries, this umbrella or stick stand dates to the early 20th century. The base of the interior of the terracotta vessel is stamped Pierre Maurel, Aubagne, a renown tile maker of the region.
