About Pierre Lottier:
Pierre Lottier was born in Nice (France). His father was the founder of the famous restaurant and hotel Le Reserve, a legendary luxury meeting place for the world's elite located on the Côte d'Azur. Because of his homosexuality, Lottier had to leave France and settled in Barcelona in the 1940s-50s, where he devoted himself to interior design and furniture pieces. A relationship with Jean Cocteau was broken when he boycotted the Franco regime. Lottier dedicated himself to carrying out decorative projects for an elite clientelle, worldwide. Among his well-known projects is the interior design of, the actress, Ava Gardner's Barcelona mansion, as well as pieces of furniture which continue to be sort after.
