PAIR OF SIGNED STILL-LIFE PAINTINGS BY MARCEL ABOUGIT

Pair of still-life paintings of flowers. One with lilac and carnations, the other a vase of pink roses. Signed by the French Impressionist, Marcel Abougit [b. Le Puy, the Auvergne, France, 1886 - d. after 1935] Abougit exhibited at the Salon des Independents in 1935. In the 1930's, he lived in the Cité Monmartre Aux Artistes [M.A.A]. Dimensions include slip surrounds.
