Elegant, pair of cherrywood side tables.
This pair of 'tricoteuses' ,or knitting tables, date to the 1970's.
In the Louis XVI style, they each feature a recessed top, one drawer and lower shelf.
They feature a lyre with brass rod strings to each side. The table is supported on a plinth.
With their classical lines, this French pair of side tables will bring a sense of tradition to any living room or dining room. They would also look fabulous as nightstands.
