PAIR OF LOUIS XV REVIVAL OPEN ARMCHAIRS

Pair of 19th century, French fauteuils in the Louis XV style . This style of armchair is know as a  'Fauteuil a la Reine', and is characterized by a flat, slightly inclined and padded backrest trapezoidal seat with galbée front.

These beautiful armchairs are of generous proportion and have wonderful curvy shape to the arms and legs. They are beautifully carved and are in their original paint.
