A refined pair of tall late 19th Century North Bohemian frosted glass vases.

Of elegant trumpet form, richly decorated with finely enamelled Art Nouveau ornament. Each vase is adorned with a wreath medallion above stylised floral garlands and trailing foliage, delicately outlined in gilt and enamel in shades of ruby, olive and gold. In the manner of Harrach, Circa 1895-1910.

The restrained yet sophisticated decoration, combining frosted ground, gilded linear framing and naturalistic enamel work, reflects the aesthetic of the Harrach workshops during the height of the Art Nouveau period. A striking and decorative pair exemplifying the refined enamelled glass produced in Bohemia at the turn of the 20th century. Very good antique condition with minor wear to the gilding consistent with age and handling.
