A handsome pair of French Art Deco club chairs dating from the 1930s.

Upholstered throughout in beautifully aged cognac-brown leather. The chairs feature elegant moustache shaped backs , deep sprung seats, and generous rolled arms with distinctive gathered leather detailing. Fully leather-clad backs, finished with brass studwork, enhance their sculptural presence from every angle. Retaining their original leather with a rich patina acquired over decades of use, the chairs display the character and warmth sought after in authentic French club seating. Their generous proportions and timeless silhouette make them equally suited to traditional and contemporary interiors.

In good vintage condition with attractive age-related wear, scuffs and creasing consistent with use. The leather retains a rich, even patina and the chairs remain comfortable and structurally sound.
