Pair of tall mid-20th Century Spanish two-tiered iron sellettes. 


A striking pair of hand-forged iron pedestal stans with square tops framed by twisted rope edging, a hallmark of Spanish ironwork. The slender architectural bases are joined by a lower square platform stretcher, lending both balance and structural strength. The surfaces retain their original painted finish and layered patina that give the pieces strong sculptural character and depth.

 

Both decorative and functional, these pieces serve beautifully as display pedestals for sculpture, plants, or objects, and work equally well in interior or garden settings.
