Stylish Maison Lancel Paris silver plate wine cooler. Ovoid shape with two bottle holders and central cavity for ice. Made for the iconic Parisian fashion house, it is marked on the underside "Made for LANCEL in India".
Lancel is the name of a house of leather goods founded in Paris in 1876 by Angèle Lancel. Besides fine leather items, Maison Lancel has produced artisan-made barware and tableware, clocks, accessories and luggage, lighters, glasses, etc. They were at one time the equivalent of Hermes in terms of quality for the Home Collection.
