FRENCH ARRAS GARDEN BENCH
French white painted Arras 'Banc Americain', bearing the makers mark.
This three seat garden bench featured in Grassin-Baledans catalogue of 1874. The frame is the traditional Arras design with the signature lion's paw feet. The planks are made from sheet metal shaped to resemble timber planks, in replication of the more rustic American look.
