FRAMED FRENCH OIL PAINTING 'LAVENDER FIELD, PROVENCE'

Charming mid-20th Century French oil painting depicting rows of lavender fields in Provence, leading toward a small rural village and rolling hills beneath a luminous blue sky. 

The artist uses textured brushwork and a soft palette of violet, green, and ochre to capture the distinctive atmosphere of the Provençal countryside. Diagonal pathways between the lavender rows create strong perspective and draw the eye toward the distant farmhouse buildings and church tower, a typical feature of villages in southern France.

The painting is signed “V. Pasqualini” lower right and is housed in a decorative carved wooden frame with visible age and patina. 

Provenance: Purchased in Sault, Provence, France - a historic centre of lavender cultivation.
