Rare, brass champagne bucket in the form of a ferreta bearing the coat of arm Zazpiak-Bat The ferreta (in Basque ) or herrade (in Gascon ) is a wooden container that allowed the transport and storage of water in the houses of the Basque Country and Gascony .Zazpiak Bat is a heraldic nickname for the Basque coat of arms which includes the arms of the seven provinces mentioned, stressing their unity. It was designed by the historian Jean de Jaurgain in 1897 for the Congrès et Fêtes de la Tradition basque celebrated at Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Early 20th century.
