PAIR OF 20TH CENTURY FRENCH EMPIRE REVIVAL WALL LIGHTS

A quietly elegant pair of 20th Century French Empire style wall lights.

In deep green painted tôle with softly patinated gilt-bronze mounts. Each centred by a tapering backplate with flame finial, issuing two gently scrolling acanthus-wrapped arms with foliate candle cups and dished pans. The restrained design and rich, tonal contrast between the green ground and mellow gilding give a sense of balance and understated refinement. Presented with replaced candle sleeves.

Fully rewired and PAT tested to UK standards. An adaptable and decorative pair, equally at home in a panelled room or a more relaxed country interior.
