STILL-LIFE PAINTING IN THE BLOOMSBURY MANNER

Unframed, oil on canvas still-life painting, very evocative of The Bloomsbury Group, especially the work of Duncan Grant. It is also painted on the reverse, as was often the case during the austerity of the period. It is lovely, light and free in its execution. There is a possible signature to the bottom right, but we haven’t been able to decipher it.
