Gérard Locardi [b. 1913 Paris -d.1998 Marseille] Original and anachronistic work, inspired by ancient myths and the harmony between man, god and nature.

Gérard Locardi was a painter of Parisian origin born in 1913. Trained at the Grande Chaumière academy in Paris, he was a student of Mac Avoy and Othon-Friesz. Retired to Marseille to devote himself exclusively to painting in the 1950s. He exhibited for the first time in 1958 at the Galerie Lesperut then in Asia (Tokyo and Kobe in particular), in France and abroad.

He participated in the exhibition of “One Hundred Provençal Artists” in 1971 at the Cantini Museum, Marseille
