EARLY 19TH CENTURY WALNUT BENCH

Very smart, early 19th century, French walnut bench.

This decorative French banc is of a rare and most unusual design. The central stretcher supports five beautifully turned downrights, Splayed turned legs to each end. It is taller than most benches making it a very practical seat.

There is a wonderful old repair and restoration to the top giving it great character and atmosphere..

This lovely honest piece suits many interiors and uses. It would look fabulous in an entrance way, mud room or at the end of a bed.
