Pair of early 20th Century French Louis XVI Revival open armchairs in the Neo-Classical style. 


These elegant 'Fauteuils a la Reine' with their upright square backs bear beautiful carved scrolling to the back frame and arms. The apron features reeded carving and beading. Reeded legs with rosettes to the top. They are upholstered in creamy soft velvet with separate seat cushions. 


Some expected marks to the velvet commensurate with age and use.
