An elegant 19th Century French vineyard table crafted from solid cherry.

Featuring a beautifully proportioned oval top supported by a sculptural trestle base. The timber has developed a rich warm honey tone, enhancing the depth of the grain and lending the piece a refined yet authentic character. The plank-constructed top rests on a graceful base with shaped feet, substantial uprights, and a striking curved brace centred on a turned finial detail. This architectural base provides both strength and visual presence, giving the table a balanced silhouette that sits comfortably in both classic and contemporary interiors.

Traditionally designed to tilt upright for storage, the original mechanism remains intact beneath the top—an appealing detail that speaks to its vineyard origins and practical design. The table has benefited from careful historic restoration, helping preserve its structure while enhancing the natural beauty and warmth of the cherry. With its generous scale, beautiful patina, and strong sculptural form, this table works equally well as a dining table, statement kitchen table, or centrepiece within an interior, bringing warmth, authenticity, and understated French provincial elegance to a space.
