Beautifully painted oil on wooden panel still life featuring a creamware casserole, plates, cutlery, fish and fruit on a blue and white checked tablecloth.

Signed by the artist, Richebe, presented in a simple painted wooden frame. 

About the Artist: Horace Richebe was born November 28, 1871 in Algiers of French parents and died in 1964 in Nice. French. Painter of genre scenes, typical subjects, portraits, landscapes, flowers and fruits. Orientalist. Richebe studied at the School of Fine Arts in Marseille, then he was a student of Jean Léon Gérôme in Paris. He settled permanently in Nice in 1950. He appeared at the Salon of French Artists in Paris, of which he became a member in 1907, and at the Colonial Exhibition in Marseille the same year. He obtained an honorable mention in 1907, a third class medal in 1910, and a gold medal in 1924. He was appointed curator of the Arles Museum and was promoted to Chevalier of the Legion of Honor.
