COLLECTION OF SEVEN MID-CENTURY MODERN INTERIOR AND FURNITURE DESIGNS BY ANFOSSI

A highly decorative collection of seven original Mid-Century Modern Italian design studies by Anfossi.

Executed in watercolour and ink on paper. Each composition depicts a distinct piece of mid-century modern furniture. Executed in mixed media on paper, the works combine technical elevations with finely rendered perspective views, illustrating a coherent design language characteristic of post-war Italian modernism. Comprising designs for a desk, sofa, cocktail table, sideboard, storage cabinet and record player unit, the suite offers a fascinating insight into the designer’s creative process.

Each sheet is signed Anfossi and presented behind glass in simple black-painted wooden frames. Displayed together, the seven works create an impressive decorative ensemble; equally they can be hung individually or in smaller groupings.
