1970'S HAMMERED SILVERPLATE SACK CACHE POT

A sculptural 1970s hammered silver-plated cache pot or bowl.

In the form of a tied sack, with flowing rope-twist mounts and a softly undulating rim. Dating to the mid-20th Century, the piece reflects the hand-worked organic Modernism favoured by designers and decorators of the period. 

Ideal as a sculptural cache pot or centrepiece. The hand-hammered surface and organic form sit particularly well within pared-back, textural interiors.
