EARLY 20TH CENTURY FEATHER FILLED CARPET CUSHION

Handcrafted from an authentic antique Persian Kurdish village rug, this decorative cushion features a richly textured field of small floral rosettes arranged in a dense, rhythmic pattern. The palette blends warm brick red, rust, soft pink, ochre, and muted green against a deep charcoal ground, creating depth and visual warmth.

Woven in Northwest Iran in the early 20th century, the rug was made with handspun wool and natural dyes, giving the surface its distinctive softness and subtle color variation.

The antique textile has been repurposed into a feather-filled cushion and backed with antique linen.
