Beautiful, rare, French, 18th century, Louis XVI mirror with carved two twin tailed mermaids, bay, olive and branches, and urn with flambeau. This stunning looking glass was probably carved in Marseille which was reputed to have the best carvers of marine subjects in the period. Circa 1780
