LARGE 19TH CENTURY BRASS WALL CANDLE HOLDER

Large 19th Century French brass wall holder. 

Dating to the early 19th Century, this larger rare example was was originally used to store taper candles. It would also be a fabulous wooden utensil holder in any country or modern kitchen. Beautifully embellished with embossed decoration, including a satyr masque, cherub, birds and scrolled floral and foliate motifs. 

In good antique condition with old repairs to the back, consistent with its age and use.
