FRENCH 19TH CENTURY VINEYARD TABLE

Charming round French vigneron table. This lovely vendange table has a poplar top and folding oak base with a charmingly sized and shaped foot. 19th century.

These tables were a traditional part of the French wine harvest, vendange to taste the wine and celebrate with friends and family.

With trestle supports and a tilt top function, these tables allowed for easy storage in the cellar and movement outside for wine-tasting.
