FRAMED EARLY 19TH CENTURY SILKWORK 'THE HOMECOMING'

Beautiful French Empire Period embroidered paint and silkwork of a father being greeted by his wife and daughter on his return home . He is holding the reins of his horse who stands alongside the trio.This charming work is framed behind glass. It is rare to find these works that are not of a religious theme. It is in lovely condition, commensurate with its age, and has retained it's colour.
